SCOPE 2023 was yet another success!
Myself, Dylan Anderson, Brody Chaney, and Chase Meredith had a great time in Downtown Nashville! On March 6, we departed OHS and quickly got to our beautiful hotel near Music Row, but the main event was the next day at Belmont University! As Oneida’s first SCOPE officer ever, my day was a little different than that of the other three! Right away I started helping out by handing out flyers and then helped open the day by giving a run down of the day’s events. Some of my duties included making sure everything was in order, giving incite to what people could expect, and making sure everyone got to lunch! After the mock board meeting was over, I helped out some groups who were choosing who would go to the debate!
At the end of the day, everyone came back to the concert hall and we began the debate! The President and myself split the duties and I got the second and fourth debate, the Senior debate.
Everything went great and it was a blast to come back! This student congress is a great experience and I cannot give it enough praise about how much I learned and contributed to education!
